When the conversations drown

Beneath the sea of sorrows found

A shell of who you use to be

Something you could never see.

In its wake you close your eyes

And listen to the sounds of lies

Circling the shell of who you’re not

Leaving you to spoil and rot.

Your emptiness suits you very well

As our conversations tell

You rotten thing so empty inside

Close your eyes and try to hide.

Forget the sound of silent waves

And hear the shell as hollow caves

Swarming with those that you resemble

And I will leave you there to tremble.
